We are physics educators in Malaysia.
The Chang Physics Class is dedicated to the teaching and learning of physics. We want to bring useful tips and learning materials for teachers and students.
Obviously, this is brought to you by the Chang family.
The first member is my father, Mr Chang See Leong. He is a renowned physics textbook author in Malaysia at the secondary school level. He has published numerous textbooks with other authors such as Mr. Yew Kok Leh and Mr Koay Kheng Chuan. There will be his teaching materials posted on this website.
The second member is me, Sheh Lit. I am interested in improving the teaching and learning of physics in schools. He had a Ph.D. in Physics Education Research from the University of Washington at Seattle. He investigated student difficulties in rolling motion and vector superposition. He also incorporated natural language processing to analyze students’ explanations. Currently, he is giving physics tuition online and he can be reached at changphysicsclass@gmail.com.
On this website, we will be posting content related to the physics learning at the SPM and STPM level. I will also blog regularly on my thoughts on what students tend to struggle with when it comes to learning specific topics in physics.
